We are glad to inform that preparations for the Automated Trading Championship 2007 have already been started and the contest will certainly take place. There is not very much time left before it starts.

At present, we are working at the Championship website, which we are planning to have launched by the 1st of July. On the same day, the registration of Participants will start, which will finish on the 20th of September. The Championship, like the previous one, will start on the 1st of October and finish on the 25th of December 2007.

On the 19th of March 2007, MetaQuotes Software Corp. opened its fourth office, in Shanghai. After the office in Singapore, the Shanghai office will be the second company’s office in the Asian and Pacific region. The local staff hired to work in the office will perform the following duties: make marketing research and run campaigns in the region, sell trading platforms MetaTrader 4 and provide brokers and traders with technical support services.

Opening the Shanghai office is one of the steps planned within the “East Campaign”. In the framework of this campaign, the company’s products have already been localized for some oriental languages. MetaQuotes Software Corp. has also opened Chinese sections for its corporate websites (http://www.mqshanghai.com and http://www.mql4.cn). On these websites, brokers and banks can find all necessary information about the company’s software products in their native language. Traders will also be provided with a large amount of information. Besides, the annual Automated Trading Championship that was very successful in 2006 will also be given coverage to in Chinese.

“Asian and Pacific markets develop rapidly and become more and more open. Many well-known brokerage companies and banks have already opened their rep offices in the region. The 12th and the last week of the first annual Automated Trading Championship 2006 is over. It’s time to name the Winners and to present the prizes!

The First Place in the Automated Trading Championship 2006 is taken by Roman Zamozhnyy (Rich), a Participant from Ukraine. Roman has been permanent leader of the Championship for the last two weeks. His result by the end of the Championship is over 35 thousand of profit. Roman Zamozhniy will get the gift «First Winner of the Automated Trading Championship 2006» and 40 000 dollars from Spacevision Switzerland SA. Excellent, Roman!

The Second Place is taken by Luis Guillermo Damiani (ldamiani) from Brazil. Luis will get the gift «Second Winner of the Automated Trading Championship 2006» and 25 thousand dollars from FXDD. «FXDD is proud to have been a Gold Sponsor for the 1st Automated Trading Championship 2006. On the website of the Automated Trading Championship 2006, the article «The Championship Started!» has been published. It officially declares the start of the Championship and describes changes made on the Championship website that are of effect since the 1st of October.

The official website of the Automated Trading Championship 2006 is launched and you can register for participation. All developers of mechanical trading systems are eligible to participate in the Championship for free. Registration finishes on the 25th September 2006. To become a Participant, you need to fill out the registration form online and submit your expert advisor.

The Championship is planned to start on the 1st of October of this year. 12 weeks later, on the 25th of December, the results of the Championship will be summed up. The best three developers whose expert advisors take best places will share the prize of US$ 80’000.

MQL 4 Community (www.mql4.com) is being updated at the moment in order to allow all visitors writing of articles for remuneration. Updating is planned to have been completed by the 1st of May, 2006.
