The Capital Markets Technology event took place from the 25th to the 27th of October 2011 for the first time in Sao Paulo, Brazil. MetaQuotes Software Corp. sponsored and actively participated by showcasing its the most technologically advanced multi asset trading platform to date, MetaTrader 5. The event was attended by the most important stakeholders of the Brazilian market including brokerages and banks, and crowned with great success.
The event was highlighted with numerous seminars and networking meetings with all stakeholders of the Capital Markets, along with a handful of national and international software vendors and companies showcasing their solutions, and offering their services to the Brazilian market. Gaies Chreis, the Deputy CEO of MetaQuotes Software Corp., has commented on this event:
This event was very important to us for many different reasons. This event was very succesfull for us, as we managed to gather a lot of important local market information, that provide us with a kick start in entering this ever changing and evolving Brazilian market. We already managed to sell licenses to the biggest brokers in Brazil and we are in the process of negotiating more contracts, for companies that already decided to buy MetaTrader 5. In addition, we met with BOVESPA representatives and agreed to cooperate in order to Certify our platform the soonest possible.
