During iFX EXPO International 2026, we spoke with Christos Kakourides, CEO of TradeStone, about his long-standing partnership with MetaQuotes, the evolution of MetaTrader 5, and the new opportunities that the platform ecosystem creates for brokerage companies.
According to Christos, the reliability of a technology partner has a direct impact on a broker's relationship with its clients. The stability, scalability, and trust that MetaQuotes provides enable them to deliver a higher level of service to their own customers. This is why he views MetaQuotes not simply as a vendor, but as a long-term technology partner.
In the interview, Christos also discusses the use of additional MetaQuotes solutions, including Automations and Ultency. In his view, the development of a unified ecosystem is especially important for modern brokerage businesses, which must simultaneously manage integrations with payment providers, liquidity providers, bridges, and other third-party systems.
The more intermediaries involved in a brokerage infrastructure, the more complex it becomes to configure, maintain, and scale. MetaQuotes' new solutions help reduce the number of external integrations and bring more key processes into a single technology environment.
Christos also highlights the capabilities of Ultency. This integrated liquidity management solution allows brokers to eliminate the need for a separate bridge and simplify their overall technology architecture. According to him, other industry players are beginning to move in the same direction, but MetaQuotes solutions continue to set the industry standard.
Watch the full interview to learn why Christos Kakourides considers MetaQuotes a long-term technology partner, how Automations and Ultency help brokers grow their businesses, and why the future of the industry lies in unified trading technology ecosystems.
