At Forex Expo Dubai 2026, we spoke with representatives from brokerage firms about how the industry is evolving, what traders expect today, and which technologies are helping brokers grow and scale their businesses.

The interviewees noted that competition is increasingly shifting from the trading products to the client experience. Traders expect fast onboarding and execution, transparency, secure client funds, and high-quality support. For brokers, this means focusing not only on acquiring new clients but also on retaining them and building long-term relationships.

Technology plays a central role in this transformation. Brokers are making extensive use of CRM systems, Automations, integrations, robust server infrastructure, and new data tools. MetaTrader 5 remains at the heart of their trading infrastructure, bringing these solutions together in a single ecosystem and enabling brokers to scale as their businesses grow.

Artificial intelligence was another key topic in the interviews. Brokers noted rapidly growing demand for AI tools among traders. Features that were seen as a nice-to-have benefit only a short time ago are gradually becoming a must-have of modern trading technology.

The built-in AI Assistant in MetaTrader 5 is already attracting interest from brokers and traders. Some companies have begun testing its capabilities and exploring ways to incorporate these new tools into their workflows and client services. The interviewees believe that advances in AI could significantly reshape how traders interact with trading technology over the next few years.
