At Forex Expo Dubai 2026, we caught up with Finley Wilkinson, Chief Operating Officer at Kudo.com, to discuss changing trader expectations, the technologies helping brokers scale and the role artificial intelligence will play in the future of trading.
Finley believes client expectations have changed more than anything else over the past few years. Today, traders expect speed at every stage, from deposits and withdrawals to trading operations. With competition intensifying, a good trading product alone is no longer enough to attract clients. Trust, ease of use and access to additional tools, including copy trading and market analytics, are just as important.
The conversation also explored how technology helps brokers grow without adding complexity to their operations. Kudo.com uses automated integrations across the entire client journey, from onboarding through to trading. MetaTrader 5 is central to the company's trading infrastructure. As Finley explains, making sure the platform and other systems work seamlessly together has been key to helping the business scale.
Kudo.com already uses AI to help staff work more efficiently and has seen significant improvements since introducing it. Finley sees its main value in automating specific tasks and supporting people in their day-to-day work, rather than taking over their roles.
He takes a similar view of AI in trading. By providing quick access to relevant information, AI can help traders assess market conditions and make better-informed decisions tailored to their trading strategies. In Finley's view, however, traders should remain in control of their trading.
