We are looking for a Head of Mobile Development who can combine team management with technical leadership and hands-on development.
Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Team Lead.
- Practical experience in development using Swift or Java — proficiency in at least one of these languages is essential.
- Knowledge of Kotlin and Objective-C is an added bonus.
- In-depth expertise in at least one area: iOS or Android.
- Knowledge of mobile application architecture principles.
- Experience in the technical analysis of business requirements and breaking them down into tasks.
- At least 3+ years’ experience in C++ programming and experience working with production code: reading, analysing, identifying and fixing bugs, making changes and implementing new functionality.
- Ability to make technical decisions, conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.
- Strong managerial and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the team by setting goals, prioritizing work, allocating resources, monitoring delivery, and supporting team members’ professional development.
- Ensure that every team member understands the goals and priorities.
- Work with internal stakeholders and maintain clear and transparent communication.
- Combine team management with hands-on software development.
- Act as a Lead Developer for at least one platform: iOS or Android.
- Participate in architecture design, implementation of key technical solutions, and resolution of complex engineering challenges.
- Work directly with the production codebase, including C++: analyze code, fix defects, make changes, and contribute to the implementation of new functionality.
- Conduct code reviews and oversee development quality, technical debt, and the technical evolution of the products.
