We are looking for a strong developer who is ready to tackle complex technical challenges using C++ and Rust, work with high-load systems, and make technical decisions at all stages of development.
For us, it is not so much a specific set of technologies that matters, but rather an engineering mindset: the ability to understand complex systems, find effective solutions, take responsibility for the outcome and see tasks through to completion.
We are looking for a specialist with strong experience in C++ who is already working with Rust or wishes to use it in production development.
Key requirements
- Proficiency in C++ and practical experience in Rust development
- Experience in implementing complex system and infrastructure tasks
- Understanding of the principles of efficient CPU, memory and I/O utilisation
- Ability to break down tasks and independently structure a workflow
- Ability to make technical and architectural decisions within the scope of a project
- Responsibility for the quality, performance and reliability of your code
- Interest in systems programming and modern approaches to developing high-performance applications
- Experience with network protocols, asynchronous programming and profiling tools would be an advantage
Requirements
- Solid commercial experience in C++ development
- Practical experience in Rust development or a strong knowledge of the language and its ecosystem
- In-depth understanding of operating systems, algorithms and data structures
- Experience in multithreaded and concurrent programming
- Understanding of memory models, thread synchronisation and lock-free approaches
- Experience in developing network applications and working with asynchronous I/O
- Practical knowledge of debugging and profiling tools
- Experience in identifying bottlenecks and optimising performance
- Understanding of the principles of building fault-tolerant distributed systems
- Ability to work within a development team and liaise with other departments
It is not essential to be equally proficient in both languages. We are interested in both strong C++ developers who are already using or actively learning Rust, and Rust developers with a solid background in systems programming and experience with
